Overview
As an SAP Solution Architect within ABB's ERP team, you will shape robust SAP solutions and guide the S/4HANA path. You will ensure alignment with enterprise and data standards while delivering high-quality IS services. This role combines architecture, design, and hands-on development to support migration efforts and cross-functional integration. You will work with diverse stakeholders to drive innovative SAP solutions and maintain system integrity. You will be at the forefront of ABB's S/4HANA transformation and tech modernization.

Responsabilità
- Drive technical readiness for the S/4HANA migration
- Design and build SAP custom solutions
- Maintain integrity and quality of SAP solutions and IS services
- Create and maintain technical and architectural documentation
- Perform internal testing and support user testing
- Promote new technologies and innovative solution design approaches
- Support installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of IS processes
- Assist in incident and problem resolution with technical verification
- Understand business processes at a high level and advise accordingly
- Coordinate with SAP consultants and other SMEs on integration solutions
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- At least 10 years as SAP Solution Architect and ABAP developer
- Strong SAP ABAP expertise including OO, familiarity with RAP/CAP a plus
- Experience in SAP integrations (IDOCs, BAPI, APIs, web services) and knowledge of SD, MM, WM, PP
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, migration projects, SAP BTP, and clean core concepts
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive, analytical mindset; able to work under pressure and adapt to change
- Proficiency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Italy and Europe
