Your Job
You will support the growth and effective management of strategic customer accounts within the Telecom, Data Center, and Networking markets, acting as a key coordination point between customers and internal teams.
This position focuses on understanding customer demand and business needs, supporting account strategies and commercial opportunities, and ensuring accurate follow-up and execution across sales, product management, operations, and customer service.
The ideal candidate is based in Milan or surroundings; however, we are flexible to hire across Italy depending on preferred candidate's location. This is not a first-office job, working modality can be remotely with certain client visits.
What You Will Do
Support the development and growth of strategic customer accounts within the Telecom, Data Center, and Networking markets
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate commercial activities across sales, product management, operations and customer service teams to ensure excellent account and customer support
Understand customer applications, customer demand, forecast and business needs, to help position the most suitable Molex proposal
Assist in the preparation and execution of account plans and business strategies/goals aligned with corporate growth objectives.
Closely Monitor customer opportunities and demand and maintain an accurate tracking of delivery execution
Track real-time customer activities and new demand needs to ensure timely internal follow-up and execution
Support customer reviews, business updates, QBR preparations and regular account management reports and activities
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline
Several years of experience in sales support, account management, customer operations, or commercial-oriented roles within the electronics, telecommunications, networking, or data center industries
Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce and other CRM or ERP systems
Experience working in an international and matrixed organization
Fluency in English and Italian. Chinese would be a plus.
Experience in sales operations, customer service, forecasting, pipeline management, and business reporting and analysis
Proactive, customer-focused, and solution-oriented mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across a global organization
Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented mindset
What Will Put You Ahead
Previous Experience supporting Telecom, Data Center, Networking, or Cloud Infrastructure customers
Understanding of optical networking and components, data center, connectivity and interconnect technologies
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
