MissionWe are seeking a highly skilled SAP S4/SAP BTP Solution Architect to lead and support the architectural design and implementation of SAP based solutions, focusing on SAP S/4 and SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform). This role will drive the transformation of business processes into scalable architectural solutions, supporting a seamless migration to SAP S/4 HANA while ensuring robust integration with external systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of backend applications in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance, with expertise in SAP ecosystem and integration technologies.Key Responsibilities:Solution Architecture DesignDefine and implement robust SAP architectures focused on S/4 HANA and BTP, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, SAP guidelines and technical requirements, enabling scalable and innovative solutions.Design end-to-end solutions for Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Finance processes, integrating SAP S/4 HANA with backend systems like WMS, PLM, MES and Finance Applications.Translate complex business requirements into technical architectures, ensuring scalability, security and performance.Ensure architectural consistency across all SAP and non-SAP systems, leveraging integration tools such as Cloud Integration, Data Sphere/Data Intelligence, Mulesoft, etc.Transformation LeadershipCollaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure the architectural strategy aligns with transformation goals.Serve as the technical lead for the S/4 HANA transformation program, ensuring all projects are segmented, prioritized, and delivered on time.Lead the SAP S/4 HANA program providing clear architectural guidance to cross-functional teams.Integration and GovernanceManage the technical direction of SAP platforms, focusing on security, data integration and system availability.Establish governance frameworks and lead the adoption of reusable components and microservices, driving innovation and standardization to enhance solution efficiency and boost the adoption of SAP best practices and guidelines (e.g. Clean Core strategy, CDS catalog governance).Ensure compliance with security and data integration standards while managing the availability and resilience of SAP systems and all satellite systems..Ensure all relevant architecture artifacts are properly created, documented, and maintained.Evaluate, validate and ensure that the implementation follow the architecture design principles.Innovation and continuous improvementIdentify opportunities to optimize processes through automation and advanced SAP BTP capabilities.Define and implement Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes, supporting the seamless adoption and maintenance of SAP applications.Ensure the effective monitoring, support and upgradability of implemented solutions within the SAP S/4 HANA landscape.Cross-Functional Collaboration and delivery support:Act as a trusted advisor for technical and strategic decisions related to SAP integration and digital enterprise transformation.Lead the data integration processes between SAP S/4 HANA, SAP BTP and other business systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency and optimization.Support data governance initiatives, ensuring all data integrations comply with organizational standards and best practices.Collaborate with teams to document, optimize, and maintain architectural solutions.Cloud and Dev Sec Ops EnablementDesign cloud-native applications and service-oriented architectures, leveraging Azure, GCP or other cloud platforms.Lead and promote SAP S/4 HANA on-stack development and SAP BTP extensibility adoption.Experience working with SAP Build and ABAP cloud in achieving clean core methodology.Promote the adoption of Dev Sec Ops standards, tools, and methodologies to enable secure and agile development practices.Optimize performance and scalability of SAP solutions hosted in on-premises and/or cloud environments.Security and ComplianceEnsure all solutions comply with organizational security guidelines, including user authentication, data privacy, and encryption standards.Monitor system vulnerabilities, addressing risks proactively to maintain a secure SAP environment.Performance Monitoring and OptimizationEstablish performance benchmarks and KPIs for SAP applications, ensuring systems operate efficiently and meet business expectations.Optimize the SAP landscape for high availability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.Qualifications:Education:• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related fields.Experience:•At least 8+ years of experience in SAP architecture, with 3+ years focused on SAP S/4 HANA and SAP BTP.Proven experience in backend solutions for Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance processes.Strong expertise in Cloud Integration, API management, Data Sphere, Microservices, and Event-Driven Architecture.Technical Skills:In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA basis components and SAP BTP ecosystems, including ABAP, UI5, CDS views, and OData services.Familiarity with integration protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP, MQTT) and data processing (realtime, near-realtime and batch).Experience in cloud environments like Azure/GCP, with a focus on governance and compliance.Knowledge of Agile frameworks, Dev Sec Ops methodologies, and TOGAF
