Role: Junior HSE OfficerLocation: Rome (with travel to construction sites across Italy)Salary: Competitive, based on experienceOverview:We are looking for a proactive Junior HSE Officer to support our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities across renewable energy and energy storage projects. You will work closely with the HSE Manager to ensure compliance, drive safety initiatives, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our construction sites' safety performance. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in HSE within the energy transition sector.Key Responsibilities:Support the HSE Manager in implementing and monitoring safety and environmental practices across all project phases.Conduct HSE inspections, identify risks, and propose corrective actions.Monitor HSE performance on construction sites, identifying areas for improvement.Participate in accident and non-conformity investigations.Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation.Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety practices throughout development, construction, and operation.Requirements:Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related discipline.Minimum 1 year of experience as CSP/CSE or Assistant CSP/CSE on construction sites, ideally within renewable energy or energy infrastructure.Solid knowledge of national HSE regulations and ability to conduct HSE inspections.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in teams.Familiarity with HSEQ certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH) and CSP/CSE qualifications is a plus.Desired Skills:Experience with Integrated Management Systems (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proactive, results-oriented mindset.Why Join:Opportunity to work on large-scale renewable energy and storage projects across Italy.Collaborative environment with a strong focus on HSE excellence.Career growth and professional development opportunities.
