Within the Cyber & Security Solutions Business Area, we are looking for Security Engineers for our offices in Chieti Scalo and Rome Laurentina.

The selected individuals may be involved in the following activities:

• Provision of specialized Professional Services, within the Global Cybersec Center (GCC), which include activities of:
• Design, implementation, development, and tuning of software solutions and platforms supporting multi-domain Cyber Security services;
• Continuous Internal and Customer Improvement, evaluating technologies, configurations, processes, and workflows adopted and proposing improvements in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, automation, and maintainability of solutions;
• Development and evolution of web applications, backend components, APIs, and custom integrations between systems and platforms, also through the use of technologies such as React, FastAPI, MongoDB, and REST APIs;
• Design and development of integration, automation, ETL, and data orchestration pipelines, also through tools such as Dagster or equivalent technologies;
• Design and development of custom integrations between security platforms, application systems, and data sources, including integrations with SIEM, SOAR platforms, or log management systems;
• Technical reference for customers, internal teams, and suppliers/technological partners, ensuring technical alignment, adherence to milestones, and quality of delivery.
• Technological Scouting, in coordination with other organizational units, for the identification, analysis, and benchmarking of innovative technologies in software, automation, data engineering, AI, and Cyber Security, through the conduct of Proof-Of-Concept (PoC) / Proof-Of-Value (PoV).
• Engineering of new services, from prototyping to development guidance, with structured and effective presentation to stakeholders and customers. This activity also includes drafting project documentation and supporting other GCC units in defining processes, procedures, and service workflows.
• Technical support to the Offer team in preparing responses to national and international tenders, through requirements analysis, proposal of technical solutions, project planning, and effort estimation.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM disciplines, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering.

Seniority:

Experienced. 3+ years in Security Engineer roles. Experience in SOC contexts, Managed Security Services Providers, or Cyber Security projects will be considered a plus.

Technical/IT Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge and experience in full-stack software solution development, with particular reference to:
• Frontend development with React or equivalent frameworks/libraries;
• Backend and API development, preferably with FastAPI, Python, and REST architectures;
• Design and use of NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB;
• Development of automation, integration, and scripting components using Python/Bash;
• Design and implementation of ETL, data ingestion, and data processing pipelines;
• Knowledge of virtualized infrastructures based on virtual machines and containers and related orchestration platforms; preferred experience with K8s.&l
