Overview
In this role you will support Worldline's legal framework in Italy, advising on payments, financial services, and IT matters. You will partner with cross-functional teams on commercial contracts, M&A, and regulatory compliance to enable business growth in an international context. You will influence governance, liaise with regulators and external counsel, and provide timely, business-focused legal guidance. This is an opportunity to shape how a global payments leader navigates complex regulatory environments and strategic partnerships.

Responsabilità
- Negotiate and manage commercial contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners
- Support legal aspects of M&A, strategic partnerships, and key commercial agreements
- Provide legal, compliance and corporate governance support for Italian regulated entities
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, especially banking and payments regulations
- Act as a legal business partner to various departments and liaise with outside counsel
- Monitor regulatory changes to manage business risks and opportunities
- Support the Group Legal Team and senior management with proactive legal advice on payments regulation
- Conduct legal research and analysis and handle complaints and requests from authorities
Requisiti fondamentali
- At least 4 years post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house (financial institution, fintech, or large international IT company)
- Strong expertise in payments, financial services or fintech, and banking regulation
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills in Italian and English
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Experience dealing with senior management and regulators
- Resourceful, collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Fluency in Italian and English; other European languages are a plus
