Senior FP&A Manager

Location: Northern Italy

About the Role

We are supporting a private equity-backed, international business in the appointment of a Senior FP&A Manager to join its finance team in Northern Italy.

This is a high-impact role within a fast-paced, dynamic and growth-focused environment, working closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance, improve visibility and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
  • Deliver high-quality management reporting and performance analysis.
  • Analyse KPIs, profitability, cash flow and key business trends.
  • Provide clear financial insight and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Partner with commercial and operational teams to support business decisions.
  • Identify risks, opportunities and performance gaps against plan.
  • Develop financial models, scenario analysis and business cases.
  • Support strategic initiatives, transformation projects and value-creation plans.
  • Improve FP&A processes, reporting tools and financial visibility across the business.
  • Help drive a high-performance, commercially focused finance culture.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong background in FP&A, controlling or commercial finance.
  • Experience within a private equity-backed, high-growth or fast-changing environment highly desirable.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capabilities.
  • Commercially minded, analytical and comfortable challenging the business.
  • Able to operate with pace, autonomy and a high level of ownership.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working across multiple functions and/or international markets.
  • Advanced Excel and strong financial systems experience.
  • Fluent English required; Italian highly advantageous.
  • Based in, or open to relocating to, Northern Italy.
