Global Product Manager – MV Secondary Switchgears

Overview

In this global role, you own the MV Secondary Switchgear AIS/GIS portfolio across its lifecycle, aligning with customer needs and business strategy. You define the product strategy and roadmap, driving new development, launches, lifecycle management, and phase-outs. You collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D and Operations to align priorities and ensure sustainable growth. The role includes governance, regulatory and sustainability commitments, including the SF6-free transition. Hybrid work model; location in Europe (Norway or Italy) with potential for other locations.

Responsabilità

• Own the global product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle priorities for the MV Secondary Switchgear AIS and GIS portfolio
• Develop and maintain the product business plan with objectives, value creation, investments, and KPIs
• Translate market and customer needs into product/technology priorities
• Build strong relationships with customers, utilities, markets, and internal stakeholders
• Lead product lifecycle from introduction to phase-out; initiate new developments, variants, and cost-improvement initiatives
• Define product requirements and target specifications balancing customer value, feasibility, cost, and time-to-market
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on go-to-market, sales enablement, and training
• Plan and coordinate product launches and phase-outs; ensure market readiness across regions
• Monitor competitiveness, track performance (sales, profitability, quality, delivery, feedback); act on gaps
• Provide product expertise for strategic opportunities and complex requirements; govern roadmap and risks
• Ensure regulatory, safety, cybersecurity, and quality compliance; promote sustainability and SF6-free initiatives
• Advances innovation and sustainability priorities within the portfolio

Requisiti fondamentali

• Bachelor in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years in MV switchgear, product management, or related field
• Experience in global, cross-functional environments
• Understanding of MV switchgear applications, standards, regulatory compliance, safety, sustainability, SF6-free portfolio transition
• Proven track record in global product strategies, roadmaps, and lifecycle management
• Experience with go-to-market, product launches, and cross-regional execution
• Strong cross-functional stakeholder management and ability to influence in matrix environments
• Fluent English; willingness to travel internationally
