- 91.571,00 € under 1 SQ CLA level The Data Platform & Governance Manager sits within the Growth Data & Intelligence team, as part of the wider Global Consumer Experience function. You will directly shape how marketing teams across the organization access and act on data, accelerating time‐to‐insight through scalable, AI‐enhanced data products.

This role serves as the primary interface and accountable owner for ensuring that data requirements are met through the enterprise data platform (owned by the Global D&A team) and key martech tools (sourced and run by the DBS‐Digital Business Solutions team). The Data Platform & Governance Manager advocates for business needs, defines clear requirements, negotiates priorities and SLAs, and drives cross‐functional coordination to enable reliable, high‐quality data flows for customer and consumer analytics, activation, and channel performance optimisation – including readiness for AI and advanced analytics workloads.

This role combines technical platform expertise, strong cross‐functional coordination, and governance leadership to deliver the data foundations that power consumer growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Will Include Collect and prioritize data requirements (sources, schemas, real‐time needs, integrations, AI/ML readiness) and articulate them to DBS and Global D&A. Represent Global Customer & Consumer Experience in DBS tooling selection, implementation, and roadmap discussions, ensuring martech supports data granularity, tracking, and AI/ML readiness. Drive Global D&A governance implementation, participate in planning forums to secure platform capacity and features for growth and AI workloads.

Serve as primary liaison between Growth CX, DBS, and Global D&A. Drive joint planning and execution for onboarding new martech tools from evaluation and configuration (DBS) to data pipeline setup and ingestion (Global D&A). Coordinate schema design, event tracking standards, integration testing, and enable channel performance data flows and AI/ML readiness through cross‐functional alignment. Define and run data quality standards, validation rules, monitoring, and collaborate on data lineage, cataloguing, MDM, and access controls.

Own data governance and compliance across the martech‐to‐platform chain, ensuring ethical, secure, and compliant practices across markets. Track key data metrics (completeness, freshness, latency, errors, AI readiness), lead incident triage and resolution, and conduct service reviews for continuous improvement. Align with Data Product & Data Intelligence Managers, promote guidelines, and support capability building through enablement and knowledge sharing.

Act as the voice of the internal customer, driving adoption across marketing teams at all levels. Deliver intuitive, reliable, and scalable products that balance speed‐to‐market with quality and governance. Measure and maximize business impact — continuously gather feedback, iterate, and retire low‐value products. What are we looking for? Minimum 7+ years in data engineering, platform coordination, or analytics enablement, with 3+ years leading cross‐functional dependencies in matrixed organisations.

Proven experience working with centralised data platforms and martech/adtech ecosystems, influencing shared roadmaps and tool selection. Deep experience in growth/marketing data ecosystems (e.g., CDPs, analytics tools, activation platforms like Adobe, Google, Salesforce). Hands‐on experience with data pipelines, event monitoring, and artificial intelligence/machine learning data infrastructure. Proven ability to drive outcomes through influence, negotiation, and relationship‐building; strong team member and leadership experience.

Extensive global exposure across markets and regulatory environments. Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms (e.g., Fabric, Big Query) and martech ecosystems (pixels, SDKs, APIs, CDPs, tag managers). Knowledge of data ingestion patterns, event schemas (e.g., JSON), integration guidelines, plus familiarity with governance tools, lineage, and quality frameworks.

Solid SQL proficiency and working knowledge of Python for validation, troubleshooting, and exploration (non‐production). Deep understanding of growth data challenges (attribution, consent, cross‐device, real‐time vs batch), data privacy, and developments in artificial intelligence and machine learning with a relevant graduate degree.
