Overview
In this Milan-based role, you contribute as a global market strategist within J.P. Morgan Asset Management's Market Insights team. You will translate macroeconomic developments into actionable views for clients, the media, and internal partners, helping strengthen the firm's position as a leading source of capital markets insight. You'll present complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences and collaborate with internal desks to identify opportunities. The role blends research, client engagement, and cross-asset thinking to inform investment views. A strong hook is the chance to shape market narratives at a global scale within a flagship program.
Responsabilità
- Produce client-facing materials (Guide to the Markets, On the Minds of Investors, Monthly Market Review)
- Contribute to macro and market research using data-driven analysis
- Present outlooks to clients in-person and virtually
- Shape views across asset classes for client-facing delivery
- Educate internal partners on market issues and Market Insights program resources
- Collaborate with internal investment desks to exchange views and identify opportunities
Requisiti fondamentali
- University degree; economics, finance or related subject preferred
- CFA/CAIA or similar qualifications are a plus
- Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to convey complex ideas with clarity
- Demonstrable research experience or materials
- Strong understanding of financial markets, economics, capital markets history, and asset classes (equity, fixed income, EM, currency, asset allocation)
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to generate insightful, rigorous investment ideas
- Willingness to travel (including overnight)
- Outstanding presentation and written communication
