At Street Smash Burgers, we believe that the success of a growing brand starts with the people who build it every day. Role Scope: Own each Italian store project from lease signing to handover to Operations: planning, tender, budget, site execution and opening on the agreed date and CAPEX.
Key Responsibilities
Run several fit-out projects at the same time (civil works, MEP, extraction, equipment), from technical survey to handover. Prepare and launch tenders, compare offers and negotiate with contractors and suppliers. Control CAPEX per project against budget and flag deviations early. Own the construction milestones in the opening retroplanning and keep dates up to date. Coordinate with architects/engineers on permits and technical constraints (SCIA, ASL, fire, smoke extraction, landlord technical requirements). Supervise sites on the ground: quality, safety, progress and punch list. Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, IT and Marketing so the store opens fully ready. Document as-builts and lessons learned to standardise future openings.
Key
Requirements:
3–6 years as a construction / fit-out Project Manager, ideally in restaurants, QSR or retail chains. Proven track record running several projects in parallel on tight timelines. Strong budget control and contractor negotiation skills. Knowledge of Italian permitting and building regulations. Able to read technical drawings; Auto CAD is a plus. Fluent Italian (C2 / full professional proficiency) and fluent English; Spanish is a plus. Based in Milan and available to travel within Italy.
