We have one open position of Oracle Database Administrator with one of our client based at Milan, Italy. This is a Permanent position. Role: Oracle Database AdministratorMilan OR Bari, Italy (Hybrid 2 days per week work from office)Language: EnglishIdeal candidate should have expert level knowledge of Oracle technology and he should be capable enough to handle complex issues independently and provide resolutions within agreed SLAs also ensure customer delight and always adhere to policies and proceduresCandidate having creative thinking and willing to bring innovations and passionate about working on challenging initiatives will be given preferenceThe job holder is responsible for production support to Oracle databases and work as a Subject Matter Expert for the production support teamPerform Root Cause Analysis and provide permanent fixesInvestigate and provide solutions to database performance related issuesLead Database team in crisis calls participate in MIR and PIR calls also mentor team membersIdentify automation and Self Healing opportunities and develop automation to reduce manual efforts and standardize processesStrong technical knowledge of Oracle concepts like RAC Dataguard Golden GateBuild and Deploy Implement Solutions Perform Capacity Planning and DR PlanningExpertise in Role swap Failover planning and implementationStrong technical knowledge of database space managementKnowledge on Oracle CloudKnowledge on UNIX based OSKnowledge about Agile practices and Dev Ops toolsSoft skills Behavioral QualitiesMandatory Skills : Oracle cloud services, Oracle RAC, ORACLE RMAN, Golden Gate-DB Administration, Oracle DB Administration, Oracle Linux Administration
