Tecnimont is looking for a Planning Junior Engineer or Cost Control Junior Engineer to join the Project Control for Service Projects Function.

The initial assignment to one of the two roles will be defined based on the candidate's academic background, personal aptitudes and professional interests. Subsequently, as part of a multidisciplinary training path, the person will have the opportunity to become familiar with and further explore the activities of the other area as well, gaining a cross-functional understanding of the processes and skills that characterize both areas. This approach will help enhance the person's potential and support comprehensive professional development within the Project Control Function.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

Cost Control Junior Engineer

  • preparation of the Project Original Budget analyzing in detail the data handed over by the Commercial Department;
  • develop the first revision of the cost production and cash-flow curves, to be subsequently monitored and updated throughout the duration of the project;
  • ensure sufficient and autonomous knowledge of the necessary Company Tools to the role, such as Project Objects, SAP, other specific applications,
  • develop and maintain the Invoicing Procedure and the Invoicing Register according to the Contract provisions;
  • on a periodic basis assess the Accruals and the Estimate to Complete in terms of quantities and costs, evaluate the project forecasts in terms of revenues, costs and profitability evidencing any deviations versus the Original Budget, discuss the results with the Project Manager;
  • prepare/maintain and periodically issue, upon Project Manager's approval, the "Periodical Reports" including the PSR (Project Status Report), the Workload (monthly resource assignment), the Cash Flow;
  • guarantee proper interface with Company Financial and Administration Department;
  • grant a proactive approach as part of the Project Team oriented to the fulfillment of the project objectives.

Planning Junior Engineer

  • preparation of the Project Baseline Schedule (lev. III) analyzing in detail the data handed over by the Commercial Department;
  • develop the first revision level IV schedule and progress curves, to be subsequently monitored and updated throughout the duration of the project;
  • ensure sufficient and autonomous knowledge of the necessary Company Tools to the role, such as Oracle Primavera P6, e-DOT, WPI and other specific in-house applications
  • develop and maintain the Planning/Scheduling Procedure and Progress Measurement Procedure according to the Contract provisions;
  • prepare/maintain and periodically issue, upon Project Manager's approval, the "Periodical Reports" including the W/MPR (Weekly/Monthly Progress Report), Monthly Schedule Update and other specific reports required by PM
  • guarantee proper interface with Project Management and Engineering Department through Engineering Manager and/or Discipline Leaders as appropriate;
  • Monitor project schedule progress and assist PM and PEM in scenario analysis for identifying potential delays or criticalities and support them in finding alternative solutions.

Personal Attributes:

  • availability to travel abroad and in Italy (possibility of Long-terms abroad assignments to follow all the construction Works);
  • desire to work in an international context.

Contract Type and Classification

  • Contract type: Professional Apprenticeship (36 month)
  • Applicable collective agreement (NCLC): Chemical and Chemical-Pharmaceutical (identification code B011)
  • Job classification level: Apprenticeship, consistent with job requirements and applicable Collective Agreement

Compensation

The initial gross annual salary for this position, paid over 14 monthly installments
