Overview
As a Financial Lines Underwriter at AIG, you will assess and underwrite new and renewal PI business, partnering with brokers and internal experts to drive profitable growth. You'll maintain broker relationships, expand the broker network, and contribute to sales plans while delivering accurate management information on submissions and premiums. You'll operate in a collaborative, in-office culture that values inclusion and continuous development. Responsabilità
- Underwrite new and renewal Professional Indemnity business to support profit growth
- Evaluate risk by liaising with brokers and internal subject matter experts
- Review claims history and company information to inform decisions
- Maintain proactive broker relationships and deliver excellent service
- Expand broker network and attend events to generate new business within a sales plan
- Provide accurate monthly management information (submissions, bind rate, average premium, total premium)
Requisiti fondamentali
- Some underwriting experience preferred or relevant professional experience
- Ability to analyze financial statements
- Strong communication, networking and relationship-building skills
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Customer- and sales-oriented behaviors: motivated, tenacious, focused, technically skilled, proactive, and accountable
