Datacolor is actively seeking a talented Key account supply chain manager to join our global workforce.Position SummaryDevelop and maintain strong strategic relationships with Key Accounts within the EMEA supply chain, identifying and driving new business opportunities through close collaboration with brand partners. Conduct industry and market analysis to identify and prioritize brands with supply chain headquarters based in Europe. The initial focus will be on the Textile industry, followed by Automotive and Plastics, while remaining open to opportunities across any industry with a relevant supply chain footprint.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEngage directly with Accounts with Supply Chain whenever possible (EMA)When not possible, use the reach of existing sales organization to engage with international brands with supply chain (EMA)Work with Color Department and Supply Chain Managers of new key accounts with supply chain based in the region with a strategic approach to bring them into the Datacolor Ecosystem, providing process improvement to themMaintain and support existing relationships with existing key accountsPrioritize customers and actions based on relationship, installed base, value added, etc.Follow up opportunities created at key account level with local sales team in charge of their supply chainPresent Datacolor solutions via seminars, webinars, or in‐person meetings to create interest and awarenessDevelop and manage new market development projects to identify and qualify business opportunitiesPresent value propositions to customers, including technical solutionsUse Sales Force.com effectively as a management tool, keeping records on sales activities, contacts, opportunities and new business generatedPrepare and present business cases to management with valid proposals and justificationsReport progress to managementRequirementsBachelor degree in a business related field8‐10 years of relevant, strategic sales experience, key account managementNecessary background in technical field or engineering to be able to understand customer processes and issuesKnowledge related to color management is a plusAnalytical skills to help prioritize actions and manage executionResult oriented with strong leadership that can develop the team through coaching and supportGood understanding of textile & apparel applications and processes, brands & supply chain management practicesAbility to develop strategic partnership with customersExcellent interpersonal skills including strong listening and analytical skillsStrong verbal & written communication; fluent English (German, French, or Italian would be a plus)Excellent in presentations & influencing skillsExperience in project management with final deliverables that are constrained to a finite timescale and budgetProficiency in computer applications including MS Office, Sales Force.com, etc.LocationThis role is based in Europe and is a hybrid role in line with current company policy.
