Within the Space Division, we are looking for a Material Planner for our office in Campi Bisenzio (FI).

The person will work within the Manufacturing function, which is responsible for managing all production and Supply Chain activities aimed at ensuring delivery performance in terms of time, cost, and quality.

The person will be responsible for:

• Managing the production launches of baselines received from engineering, verifying their consistency and processing their transfer to the production management system;
• Issuing purchase requisitions for buy materials and verifying their correct transformation into purchase orders by interacting with the procurement function;
• Managing and issuing production orders in SAP in line with the agreed planning and associating the corresponding work cycles;
• Managing planning or requirement variations, interacting with appropriate functions (procurement, Industrial Engineering, etc.);
• Managing requests for modification, repair, retesting of non-compliant materials by engaging the appropriate workflow;
• Ensuring the availability of kits, complete with correct documentation, to production lines according to the agreed planning;
• Developing reports on the status of materials related to each assigned program;
• Managing the logistics of materials on consignment or with external work phases at suppliers;
• Managing service orders for the return of delivered materials for repair or modification;
• Managing national and international shipping requests for material;
• Supporting the Budgeting Planner team in cost planning and monitoring activities, the Industrial Planner team in activity planning activities, and the Operations Manager in program management in production.

Education:

- Diploma and/or Bachelor's degree in Technical/STEM fields.

Required Experience Level:

- Junior: 1-3 years of experience in the role

Technical Skills:

• Reading and managing Bills of Material (BOM) and routing;
• Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (purchasing), Make-to-Order, Make-to-Stock flows;
• Reporting and data analysis;
• Knowledge of non-conformance flows (NCR), repair, modification, and retesting processes.
