A.PositionTechnical Lead Engineer – Grid AutomationOverviewFor our Business Unit Grid Automation based in Santa Palomba, Rome we are looking for a Technical Lead Engineer to support all engineering activities related to the Automation Scope of Medium and High Voltage Substations including testing and commissioning activities.You will drive excellence by ensuring that engineering testing and commissioning activities are efficiently and cost‐effectively executed in accordance with customer expectations, contract specifications, Hitachi Energy policies, quality standards and safety requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a technical lead and design authority for engineering deliverables across all applicable disciplines; coordinate technical activities during the complete project cycle including testing and commissioning.Work closely with customers to shape and deliver solutions, utilizing feedback to drive innovative improvements and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction; collaborate with colleagues and engineers across disciplines sharing technical knowledge and best practices within the HUB Europe Region.Support the Project Manager in costings: submit estimations; issue claims related to changes in project scope; assess cost and time impacts and risk implications.Prepare base design of substation automation systems (control and protection).
