We combine expertise in acoustics, MEMS, RF, and advanced CAD automation to help our customers achieve exceptional performance and scalability in their products.Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated CAD Layout Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior engineers to develop automated layout generation tools, enhance internal design workflows, and build interfaces with commercial CAD software platforms. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative RF and MEMS technologies in a fast‐paced and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities· Develop and maintain automated layout generation code in collaboration with senior engineering staff· Improve internal design flows for IC/MEMS layout development· Create interfaces and extensions for commercial CAD tools, supporting integration and automation· Collaborate with design, simulation, and layout teams to refine requirements and deliver high‐quality layout solutions· Prepare clear documentation, reports, and presentations on design flow enhancements and layout methodologiesRequired Qualifications· Proficiency in Python (preferred) or strong experience with another programming language· Prior experience with IC or MEMS layout design· Hands‐on knowledge of KLayout (macro development, PCells, scripting, or automation)· Strong understanding of CAD flows, layout methodologies, and physical design constraints· Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal· Strong reporting, documentation, and teamwork abilitiesPreferred Qualifications· Experience with RF, MEMS, or acoustic‐based devices· Familiarity with additional CAD or EDA tools· Experience integrating or automating commercial software workflowsWhy Join UsAt Spectron Microsystems, you'll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of RF filtering technology.
