Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.); familiarity with accounting software is preferred.

Language Skills: B2 minimum level of English proficiency (written and spoken) required.

Desired Attributes: Strong interest in finance, controlling, and accounting.

High attention to detail and accuracy with numerical data.

Job Summary:

As a Junior Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the FS finance team of the EMEA organization. You will work within the accounting and FP&A teams, assisting in various accounting and controlling tasks and ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of accounting and controlling while gaining a comprehensive, first-level view of EMEA Financial Services activities.

Key Responsibilities:

General Ledger: Assist in maintaining and reconciling the general ledger, ensuring the accurate recording of financial transactions.

Accounts Payable: Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.

Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are properly accounted for.

Closing & Forecasting Support: Assist in monthly actual and forecast closings, performing variance analysis against reference scenarios. FP&A Support: Assist in value-added activities provided to the EMEA FS business.

Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic and physical financial records.

Audit Support: Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.

Systems & Software: Utilize accounting software and systems effectively to manage financial data and reports.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and support when required. xdwybme Project Support: Collect and analyze project data, document procedures, and support the implementation of new processes and tools.
