The company is headquartered in London with offices in Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid, New York, New Jersey, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, Milan and Rome.The role of Associate Financial AgencyLAS are looking for an Associate to join our team in managing agency and credit servicing activities, focusing on executing financial transactions as well as supporting restructuring and distressed situations.The role combines transaction management, operational execution and stakeholder coordination, offering broad visibility across complex financing structures and direct interaction with lenders, borrowers and advisors.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as Agency support on performing financing transactions (e.g. loan agency, security agency, facility agency)Support monitoring and management activities for private debt and UTP credit funds throughout their entire lifecycleAssist in organizing operational activities related to data remediation and data quality for the credit portfolioOversee and review activities performed by Analysts and Senior AnalystsMonitor the progress of the project and update the senior teamPrepare and organize documentation for periodic client update meetingsManage day‐to‐day operational aspects of live transactionsSupport and oversee the onboarding of new mandates, including the review of transaction documentation and calculations within the management systemMonitor contractual obligations, key dates and milestonesCoordinate with lenders, borrowers, legal advisors and other transaction partiesSupport and check drawdowns, repayments, calculations, amendments and waiversMaintain and update transaction records, reporting and data repositoriesAssist in portfolio monitoring and periodic reporting activitiesSupport senior team members on restructuring and special situations, including:amendments and restructurings of existing facilitiesdistressed or underperforming creditsinteraction with multiple creditor groupsContribute to process improvement and standardisation initiativesExperience and QualificationsUniversity degree in Economics, Finance, Law or related fields2–4 years of experience in financial services, banking, loan agency, restructuring, transaction services or advisorySolid understanding of loan documentation and financing structuresStrong organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple transactions and priorities simultaneouslyProactive, hands‐on and solution‐oriented mindsetStrong communication skills and ability to interact with senior stakeholdersFluent in Italian and in English (written and spoken)Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with internal systems and reporting tools is a plusNice to HavePrior exposure to restructuring, special situations or distressed creditsExperience working with credit funds, banks or alternative lendersUnderstanding of intercreditor dynamics and complex capital structures
