Overview
In this role you will lead the development and integration of process modules for 3D NAND, driving yield, quality, and cost targets. You will define specifications, shape module strategy, and coordinate multi-functional teams to translate research into production. Expect to design experiments, optimize performance, and advance material innovations, including AI-assisted tooling to boost efficiency. This position supports Micron's mission to transform information into intelligence at scale.

Responsabilità
- Module ownership of 3D NAND process modules and their development/operation
- Define structural specifications and process requirements for modules
- Set clear strategic direction and continual improvement plans
- Proactively identify and address structure, electrical, and reliability issues with model-based methods
- Optimize performance including structural development, electrical performance, parametric verification, and manufacturability
- Analyze materials and drive new material selection and production transfer
- Design and execute device/process experiments and analyze data for significance
- Provide team leadership and coordinate a development team across process engineers
- Make key decisions, set goals and metrics for team success
- Innovate for complex problems and pursue new technology options with IP generation
- Coordinate cross-functional activities (reticle tapeouts, flow/traveler changes, lot management)
- Support technology transfer from R&D to high-volume manufacturing
- Communicate project updates via presentations and discussions to influence decisions
- Pursue continuous development and integrate AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and quality
Requisiti fondamentali
- PhD/Master/Bachelor in relevant field with semiconductor industry experience
- Proficiency in scripting/programming/analytics software (e.g., Python, SolidWorks, Tableau, Power BI) is desirable
- Strong end-to-end understanding of NAND module PI, structures, and failure mechanisms
- In-depth knowledge of non-volatile memories and NAND process flow; yield and reliability issues
- R&D and technology transfer experience in semiconductors
- Committed to quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated with a proven track record in a demanding environment
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
