We are seeking a seniorERP Transformation Leadto drive a major finance and operations transformation across multiple European entities. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will define the strategic ERP template, lead the rollout programme, and ensure alignment between business, finance, and local entities.This isnot a technical or hands-on configuration role. It is focused onprocess design, governance, transformation leadership, and cross-functional alignment.Key ResponsibilitiesERP Template Strategy & Process DesignDefine and own theGroup ERP templatefor finance and controlling processes.Map current vs. future-state processes, ensuring consistency, governance, and standardisation across European entities.Translate business and finance needs into a clear functional ERP roadmap (without performing technical configuration).Ensure harmonised processes in areas such as Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash and Purchase-to-Pay.Transformation LeadershipLead a majorfinance and business transformationunder the steering of the CFO.Work closely with the Accounting Hub to standardise processes, consolidate reporting structures, and optimise workflows.Guide legal entity consolidation from abusiness process perspective.Drive organisational change management to support adoption across countries and functions.European RolloutOversee the ERP rollout fromItaly to France , followed by additional European entities.Align local teams, ensure readiness, and facilitate business workshops and training sessions.Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure the template is applied consistently across all locations.Finance & Controlling ExpertiseProvide leadership and clarity on financial structures, including:Chart of AccountsCost centre & profit centre frameworksProduct costing and profitability structuresValidate high-level solution designs proposed by SAP delivery teams.Ensure quality and coherence of finance processes across S/4 HANA and related systems.Cross-Functional CollaborationAct as the bridge between Finance, Operations, and IT delivery partners.Ensure business requirements are clearly represented and understood.Drive decision-making at steering committees and workshops.RequirementsExperience10–15 yearsof experience in finance transformation, ERP programme ownership, or process architecture.Strong background inmanufacturing or engineering , ideally packaging.Experience leadingmulti-countryERP or finance transformation programmes.Prior consulting experience (Big 4 preferred, ideally not Capgemini).Knowledge of SAP FI/CO processes from a business perspective (not configuration).Experience defining or harmonisingCharts of Accounts , financial structures and controlling models.Skills & CompetenciesStrategic thinker with the ability to design and govern global processes.Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.Ability to navigate complex organisations, drive consensus, and influence senior stakeholders.Excellent communication, workshop facilitation and change management abilities.Strong financial acumen and understanding of business drivers.LanguagesEnglish:RequiredItalian:Strongly preferredFrench:Nice to haveLocation & TravelIdeally based inItalyOn-site presence requiredapproximately 60%of the time.
