Your New CompanyFor a leading international player within the fresh food industry, we are looking for a Strategic Buyer to join the Procurement team based in Bolzano. Operating within a complex and fast-paced supply chain environment, the company is recognized for its strong market position, international footprint, and commitment to quality and innovation.

Your New RoleReporting directly to the Procurement Management team, the Strategic Buyer will be responsible for a key product category, contributing to the definition and execution of sourcing strategies at an international level. The successful candidate will manage supplier relationships and lead complex negotiations with international vendors, ensuring competitive purchasing conditions while maintaining the highest standards in product quality, packaging, and supply chain efficiency.

Working closely with Commercial, Operations, and Logistics teams, the Strategic Buyer will continuously monitor market dynamics, identify new sourcing opportunities, and anticipate industry trends to support business growth and profitability. The role will also involve supplier performance management, risk mitigation activities, and the implementation of procurement optimization initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and long-term value creation.

What You'll Need
to SucceedThe ideal candidate will have: A degree in Economics, Business Administration, Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldProven experience in Procurement, Category Management, or Purchasing within the Food & Beverage industryStrong understanding of food supply chains and international sourcing marketsExperience managing strategic supplier relationships and conducting complex negotiationsExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and support business decisionsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsA proactive, results-driven mindset with a strategic approach to procurementFluency in Italian, English, and German, both written and spokenWhat You'll Get in ReturnYou will join a growing international organization offering a highly visible and strategic position within its procurement function.
