We support all AWS data centers and all servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain. You'll join a diverse team and collaborate across AWS to deliver high standards for safety and security with scalable capacity at low cost. The successful candidate will support the Data Center Physical Security Team with the implementation of AWS security policies and procedures at AWS Data Center(s). You will coordinate physical security operations, testing and audit reviews of the Physical Security Program, provide support to the Contract Guard Force, contractors, and stakeholders within the Data Center. You will learn new skills and build relationships to maintain and enhance safety and security standards. AWS invites candidates from diverse backgrounds; training will be provided. As a Data Center Security Manager, you will run day-to-day security operations, support and execute security projects and programs, and assure audit compliance with AWS policies and procedures.Key job responsibilitiesHandle site security incidents, escalations, or any other security related issues.Provide after-hours on-call management support and participate in emergent, large-scale event response when needed.Participate in recurring data center security audits and reviews.Execute established compliance processes with AWS policies, standards, guidelines and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.Provide input on, and may develop, security methodologies, policies and procedures.Write reports and communicate with management on the status of DC security operations.Oversee new security construction or retrofit projects. Manage the security P&L for the assigned site(s), assist management with financial analysis, and contribute to financial decisions for security requirements.Collaborate with other teams to protect AWS Data Center personnel, information, and assets.Direct and manage the contract guard force to run daily data center operations.Basic Qualifications2+ years of overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in security or related fields; i.e., compliance, logistics, transportation, facilities among others2+ years of commercial or industrial work experienceSpeak, write, and read fluently in Korean and EnglishPreferred QualificationsBachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or other related disciplineExperience communicating research findings and analysis in both written and spoken channelsExperience managing teams who deliver on defined goals and timelinesTop quarter-percentile score in TOEFL/IELTS
