Within the Operations & Supply Chain organizational unit of the Aircraft BU, a Product Quality Engineer is sought for the Venegono site. The resource will be integrated into the site's Product Quality and within the Manufacturing Product Quality and will deal with the following activities:
- Conduct necessary investigations to resolve non-quality problems and/or support investigations related to non-conformity reports on products;
- Manage / act as a reference for the FAI (First Article Inspection) process for relevant parts;
- Work in TEAM according to LPS (Leonardo Production System) methodology, manage related projects and Kaizen, produce and update metrics and KPIs, be a direct reference in the LPS Auditing phases for the area of competence;
- Carry out in-line product audits to verify compliance with quality requirements;
- Supervise/guarantee the acceptance process of parts both internally and in the case of supply;
- Manage the Material Review Board (MRB) process to ensure correct management of non-conforming product;
- Support activities for respecting production plans;
- During audits, support, as far as relevant, Certification Bodies and Institutional Civil/Military Authorities / Bodies/Authorities/Certification Bodies;
Education:
Degree in engineering, preferably aeronautical/aerospace.
Required Experience Level:
Junior
Technical Skills:
Operational knowledge of the workshop and production processes for laminates, mechanical parts and composites.
Behavioral Skills:
- Ability to organize in the methodical development of planned plans.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize and focus on the primary causes of problems.
- Result orientation and priority management.
- Ability to work in contexts with high technical and organizational complexity.
Language Skills:
English language knowledge level B2
IT Knowledge:
Good knowledge of Excel and Office package.
Knowledge of 3D modeling systems, preferably Catia V4 and V5.

- Organizational and coordination skills, with particular reference to internal resources.
- Problem solving and results orientation.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of EN 9100 standard.
- Knowledge of EASA and EMAR – AER(EP).P-145, EASA and EMAR - AER(EP).P-21, EASA and EMAR - AER(EP).P-147, EASA and EMAR M regulations.
- Knowledge of SAP management system.
