We are seeking a Lead Brain Platform System Debug & War Room Engineer to support software issue investigation, root cause analysis, validation, and technical triage activities for Brain Core ECUs, including High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Cabin Zone Control Unit (Cabin ZCU) platforms.

As part of a Brain War Room environment, you will investigate issues identified during validation activities, reproduce failures on available systems, perform system-level debugging, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support corrective actions and solution releases.

Key Responsibilities

Issue Investigation & Root Cause Analysis

  • Investigate software and system issues identified during validation activities.
  • Reproduce failures in bench, HIL/VHIL, vehicle, and validation environments.
  • Perform system-level debugging, technical triage, and root cause analysis.
  • Analyze interactions between Brain Core, Cockpit, ADAS software, and vehicle networks.
  • Collaborate with specialist engineering teams to identify ownership and corrective actions.

Platform Debugging & Validation

  • Debug software on Qualcomm-based HPC and Cabin ZCU platforms.
  • Analyze issues across QNX, Android 14, and hypervisor-based environments.
  • Support software flashing, updates, and FOTA investigations.
  • Verify fixes and confirm issue resolution.

Diagnostics & Analysis

  • Perform diagnostics using UDS, DoIP, CAN, CAN-FD, and Automotive Ethernet.
  • Capture and analyze logs and traces using tools such as Logcat, DLT, CAN analysis tools, and Wireshark.
  • Document findings, root causes, workarounds, and recommendations.

Technical Coordination

  • Work closely with software, BSW, testing, quality, integration, and program teams.
  • Coordinate technical investigations and support issue escalation activities.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, status updates, and progress tracking.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in embedded software debugging, platform integration, system validation, vehicle software troubleshooting, or root cause analysis.
  • Strong understanding of automotive E&E architecture and embedded software systems.
  • Experience with BSW, software integration, and system-level debugging.
  • Working knowledge of QNX, Android, and hypervisor-based platforms.
  • Experience with software flashing, updates, and FOTA concepts.
  • Knowledge of UDS, DoIP, CAN, CAN-FD, and Ethernet communications.
  • Experience with HIL/VHIL, validation benches, and/or vehicle testing environments.

Preferred Experience

  • Qualcomm 7255 and/or 8255 automotive SoCs.
  • AUTOSAR BSW and/or Adaptive AUTOSAR.
  • Automotive war room or vehicle integration programs.
  • Infotainment, displays, cameras, audio, connectivity, driver monitoring, or vehicle networking domains.
