Within the Leonardo Aeronautica Service BU, and specifically for the Customer Support & Services organizational unit, we are looking for an ILS Manager for the Turin Corso Francia and Pomigliano d'Arco offices.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provides support in defining the technical content of contracts;
  • Provides support for the internal kick-off of contracts within the competence of Sales and Contract Management;
  • Ensures the execution of contracts within their competence, coordinating functions to meet contractual requirements;
  • Establishes operational planning of contractual requirements;
  • Ensures contractual deliveries through activity coordination;
  • Provides relevant input for the preparation, updating and monitoring of the Budget/Cost Plan;
  • Validates the achievement of contractual obligations/milestones in coordination with the functions;
  • Monitors costs and revenues/margins for relevant orders;
  • Monitors planning, reporting and KPIs for relevant contracts;
  • Prepares the revenue-generating order plan (COR);
  • Defines, in concurrence with the Risk Manager, the risks associated with the contract and their allocation/release if necessary;
  • Convenes and conducts periodic Program Reviews for relevant programs with the support of the reference Contract Manager.

Educational qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Diploma with equivalent experience.

Knowledge and technical skills:

  • Experience in coordinating technical activities;
  • Proficiency in ASD specifications (S1000D, S2000M, S3000L) for managing manuals, spare parts catalogs and logistical analysis;
  • Ability to manage after-sales support contracts, monitoring the supply chain and maintenance services;
  • Monitoring Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety to optimize aircraft life cycles;
  • Aircraft configuration management and incorporation of technical modifications into the support system;
  • Planning of spare parts requirements and repair management.

Behavioral skills:

  • Ability to represent customer needs (Air Forces) within the company and vice versa;
  • Aptitude for managing sudden criticalities that ground the aircraft (AOG - Aircraft On Ground);
  • Ability to coordinate diverse teams (Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics) to achieve contractual KPIs;
  • Effective Communication: ability to draft high-level reports and conduct meetings with institutional and military stakeholders;
  • Negotiation skills: Managing the balance between technical requirements, operational costs and delivery times.<
