Overview
In this role you will lead the purchasing function within a heavy manufacturing context to drive cost efficiency and supplier excellence. You will align procurement with forecasts, service plans and new product development, while developing a global supplier network. You will shape sourcing strategies from product specs and manage a purchasing team to deliver defect-free components at competitive prices. This is a hands-on leadership position within the Engineering division that supports growth and project delivery.
Retribuzione / Benefits
- 55-65k salary

Responsabilità
- Lead and develop the purchasing team
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms
- Analyze product specifications to define sourcing strategies
- Ensure procurement aligns with forecasts, service plans, and new product development
- Develop suppliers to meet evolving standards and regulations
- Manage global suppliers and support new projects
- Build a vendor network delivering defect-free components at competitive prices
Requisiti fondamentali
- 7-8 yrs of experience as Purchasing Coordinator within Heavy Manufacturing Companies
- Master's Degree in Management/Mechanical Engineering
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Technical Design
- Strong expertise in procurement and supplier management
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent knowledge of english language both written and verbal
