Overview
In this Medical Science Liaison role, you will serve as the scientific bridge between Biogen and external healthcare professionals in the designated Italian regions. You will share up-to-date medical knowledge, gather insights, and support research activities to inform Medical Affairs planning. You will work cross-functionally to ensure compliant medical execution and impactful scientific exchange. This is a mission-driven opportunity to impact patient outcomes through field-based scientific leadership.

Responsabilità
- Engage in high-quality scientific/medical exchange with HCPs and stakeholders in line with local requirements and Biogen policies
- Support reactive discussions within product labels and broader disease-area dialogue, including literature exchange
- Gather and share medical insights to inform Medical Affairs activities, lifecycle management and data-generation opportunities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapy advances, Biogen products and disease areas for accurate discussions
- Collaborate with internal functions (Medical, Value & Access, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Care Managers) for aligned execution
- Provide medical/scientific support to HCPs presenting data on Biogen areas ensuring compliant presentations
Requisiti fondamentali
- BSc in a relevant scientific discipline required
- 2+ years' experience in high-specialty therapeutic areas (rare diseases, neurology, immunology/dermatology, hematology) in Medical Affairs or industry/clinical practice
- Ability to communicate complex medical information effectively
- Understanding of health economics and pharmaceutical environment desirable
- Technical knowledge to interpret and discuss complex data clearly
- Willingness to travel at least 60% of the time
- Strong interpersonal, planning and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency in English with fluent proficiency preferred
