Substitute Teachers

The Udine International School is seeking enthusiastic, experienced, and immediately available candidates for the position of On-Call Substitute Teacher at our Preschool. Immediate Coverage: Respond promptly to calls for substitute coverage, sometimes with very little advance notice, and arrive at the facility ready to work.Classroom Management: Assume responsibility for the classroom, following the lesson plans and daily schedules established by the absent teacher.Curriculum Implementation: Implement age-appropriate activities, including reading, crafts, games, and outdoor play, that align with the Preschool's educational philosophy.Maintain professional and effective communication with co-workers and the school administration.Uphold all school policies, safety regulations, and licensing standards.Prior Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience working with preschool-aged children (typically ages 2-5) in a licensed childcare or educational setting.Language Fluency: Full and impeccable command of the English language (reading, writing, and speaking) is required.Immediate Availability: Must be available to accept substitute assignments on an immediate, as-needed basis during school hours ( 8:30 AM to 4:00PM]).Type: Part-Time / On-Call / As-NeededCompensation: Competitive hourly rateReporting To: Preschool Head
