The Intern will support the Strategic Innovation Manager in fostering a culture of innovation across the organization. Working in a highly cross-functional environment, the intern will collaborate with R&D, Product Development and Marketing to contribute to innovation initiatives, open innovation activities and strategic projects.

This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in innovation management, technology scouting, market analysis and cross-functional project coordination, while contributing to the development of future-oriented products and business opportunities.

Activities

  • Support the management of the innovation process, contributing to idea generation, concept development and innovation project tracking.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Marketing and Business Units to support cross-functional innovation initiatives and facilitate information sharing across teams.
  • Support and ease the coordination of strategic innovation projects, helping organize meetings, prepare materials, monitor activities and follow up on project deliverables.
  • Support the organization and facilitation of brainstorming sessions and innovation workshops.
  • Contribute to the preparation of tailored samples for strategic client presentations
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, innovation roadmaps, business cases and reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Support the monitoring of innovation KPIs and project progress, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.

Accountability

  • Provide timely and accurate support to innovation projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure high-quality research, analysis and documentation to support informed decision-making.
  • Foster effective collaboration across Product Development, R&D, Marketing and Business Units.
  • Contribute to maintaining an organized and efficient innovation workflow through accurate project tracking and communication.
  • Proactively identify opportunities, insights and best practices that can support corporate innovation initiatives.
  • Demonstrate curiosity, analytical thinking and a proactive attitude while developing knowledge of innovation management methodologies and tools.

Requirements

  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Innovation Management or a related field.
  • Fluency in English
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong interest in innovation and product development.
  • Analytical mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn.

Location: Agrate Brianza (MB)

Internship duration: 6 months

100% on-site

Monthly allowance: €600–€800
