Overview
In this role you will lead the Project Execution organization for complex hydropower service, rehabilitation and modernization projects. You will manage a small team and directly oversee strategic, high‐impact projects to ensure safety, quality, schedule and profitability while elevating customer satisfaction. You will drive governance, risk management and continuous improvement across the portfolio and collaborate with cross‐functional teams to enable growth and execution excellence. This position offers global scope, talent development opportunities and a chance to shape project delivery in a critical energy sector.

Responsabilità
- Lead and mentor a team of 5–7 Project Managers and Project Execution professionals
- Ensure safe, profitable, timely execution of the assigned portfolio
- Directly manage selected strategic/complex/high‐risk projects as Project Manager
- Drive project governance through reviews, risk/opportunity management and corrective actions
- Achieve financial targets including revenue, profitability, cash flow and forecasting accuracy
- Optimize resource allocation across the project portfolio
- Support PMs in resolving complex technical, contractual and organizational challenges
- Build strong customer relationships and act as escalation point for key issues
- Promote compliance with policies, quality, environmental and EHS standards
- Lead continuous improvement, lessons learned and best‐practice sharing
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain and other functions for successful delivery
- Contribute to business growth via bid reviews, risk assessments and resource planning
- Develop succession plans, competency programs and talent growth within Project Execution
- Actively participate in portfolio and project risk assessments and planning initiatives
Requisiti fondamentali
- Minimum 8–10 years in project management/execution or equivalent leadership roles within industrial project businesses
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating resources across multiple projects
- Strong background in hydropower service, rehabilitation and modernization or related sectors
- Experience in complex project management with responsibility for scope, schedule, cost, risk and customer satisfaction
- People management and portfolio management experience is a strong asset
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel ~20% internationally
- Languages: Italian and English mandatory; Spanish desirable; Portuguese a plus
- Education aligned to technical fields; equivalents considered in hydropower/energy sectors
