About the Role

Are you an experienced Platform Engineer passionate about Linux, Kubernetes, virtualization, and large-scale infrastructure operations? Join our team and play a critical role in building, managing, and optimizing enterprise and telecom-grade platforms that power mission-critical services.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior System / Platform Engineer who can take ownership of platform reliability, scalability, automation, and operational excellence across production and lab environments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior System / Platform Engineer, you will:

  • Deploy, administer, and maintain Linux-based and Kubernetes-driven platforms.
  • Manage and optimize containerized and virtualized environments.
  • Integrate infrastructure components including compute, storage, and networking platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, platform, and infrastructure issues.
  • Perform system performance analysis, optimization, and capacity planning.
  • Support automation initiatives to improve platform efficiency and reduce operational overhead.
  • Manage and support production, staging, and lab environments.
  • Drive operational excellence through proactive monitoring, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem management activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform availability, reliability, and scalability.

Required Technical Skills

Linux Administration

  • Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Linux system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • System patching and lifecycle management

Kubernetes & Containers

  • Kubernetes cluster deployment and administration
  • Container platforms and orchestration
  • Kubernetes networking, storage, and security concepts
  • Troubleshooting containerized workloads in production environments

Virtualization

  • Experience with virtualization technologies and platforms
  • Resource allocation and infrastructure optimization
  • Virtual machine deployment and management

Infrastructure & System Integration

  • Compute, storage, and networking integration
  • Infrastructure architecture and platform lifecycle management
  • System interoperability and platform onboarding

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

  • Platform monitoring and observability tools
  • Performance analysis and proactive issue identification
  • Incident management and root cause analysis

Automation

  • Shell scripting and automation fundamentals
  • Basic Python scripting knowledge
  • Experience with automation tools and operational efficiency initiatives

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale or telecom-grade platforms.
  • Strong understanding of platform operations and reliability engineering principles.
  • Experience working in highly available and mission-critical environments.
