Overview
As Global SC Director, you will define and execute a global supply chain strategy to drive service excellence and efficiency across 15+ production sites. You partner with Commercial, Operations, and Executive leadership to align supply chain capabilities with growth and profitability. You will lead end-to-end SC operations, optimize inventory, and champion digital tools for visibility and forecasting. This is a strategic, high-impact role shaping global operations and customer experience in a large international group.

Responsabilità
- Define and implement the global B2B supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead the global manufacturing footprint and act as reference point for local plant teams
- Partner with Commercial and Business Leaders to identify growth opportunities and market developments
- Support strategic projects such as line transfers, plant relocations, and cost-saving initiatives
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including demand planning, procurement, production scheduling and distribution
- Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and optimize inventory
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to forecast demand and ensure supply
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive customer service excellence and process improvements
- Optimize trade working capital through supply chain and inventory management
- Promote innovation through technology to improve visibility and forecasting
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to identify risks and opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support new product launches and market expansions
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Minimum 12 years in Supply Chain within complex international manufacturing environments; at least 5 years in senior leadership
- Proven track record leading global or multi-regional SC organisations
- Experience across S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Customer Service, Logistics & Distribution, Network Optimisation
- Understanding of manufacturing operations in industrial sectors (industrial, medical, automotive, pharmaceutical)
- Strong analytical abilities to translate data into decisions
- Leadership of multicultural, geographically dispersed teams
- Stakeholder management with executive-level engagement
- Financial acumen including cost optimization and working capital management
- Experience with ERP, Advanced Planning Systems and SC analytics tools
- Fluency in English and Italian
