Overview As Production & Quality Control Manager, you will oversee production, quality, and procurement to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction within a global manufacturing group. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and support digital tools adoption across the value chain.
The role combines operations leadership with a focus on quality systems and delivery performance in a highly customized environment. This position offers strategic visibility and opportunities to impact profitability and process excellence.
Retribuzione / Benefits salary 60,000-75,000 gross annual performance-based bonus (MBO) dynamic international environment strategic role with visibility opportunity to contribute to business growth and operational excellence Responsabilità Coordinate and supervise production, assembly, mechanical machining, and quality control activities Lead and develop a direct reporting team (Quality Specialist; Production Planning Manager; Workshop Supervisor; Purchasing Manager) Ensure KPIs for productivity, quality, on-time delivery, and service performance are met Oversee planning and procurement to balance material availability, capacity, and business needs Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to manage customer projects and requirements Oversee the Quality Management System and drive preventive/corrective actions Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and optimize processes Support the evolution of digital tools and systems for manufacturing and supply chain management Interface with Group stakeholders in an international business environment Requisiti fondamentali Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or equivalent technical background Proven leadership experience in manufacturing environments Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes in customized/engineer-to-order settings Experience coordinating Production, Quality, and Supply Chain functions Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles; Six Sigma; SMED; 5 S is advantageous Experience with ERP, MES, and advanced production planning systems Familiarity with Opera MES, Cyber Plan, and Mago ERP is a plus Fluent English for international interactions Credible and influential leadership Strong accountability and ownership mindset Customer-oriented approach ERP MES advanced production planning systems
