This position will support management in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures, and policies which includes performing month‐end activities that include closing of sub‐ledgers, general ledger account reconciliations, reporting and balance sheet account analysis.Successful candidate will also ensure appropriate financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are in place, documented, and operating as intended. This position will also play an important role in promoting systems/process development within the department to ensure ongoing efficiency and control improvements. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to innovate processes and exceed expectations in a dynamic, fast‐paced environment.Knowledge & Skills / Business Acumen / Education & ExperienceCA qualification is a requirementPrior experience in Retail or Marketplace or Financial Retail Services is recommendedStrong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills.Zeal towards operational excellence/process improvement & simplificationsExcellent knowledge of financial controls and proceduresAdvanced level Excel and knowledge of SQL will be preferredExperience of Oracle and Blackline Reconciliation tool. Flexible, adaptable, well organizedKnowledge of Six Sigma defect reduction techniques (Lean, etc.) preferredShould have strong team skills and Self‐motivated, enthusiastic and highly energetic.Basic QualificationsExperience using data to influence business decisionsCA with 0‐4yrs of post‐qualification experience in Month end closing of Books of accounts / working on various Sub‐ledgers / Accounting Knowledge / Balance sheet Reconciliation & Reporting activitiesKnowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skillsExperience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting is a plus.Preferred QualificationsGood communication skillsGood articulation skillWell versed with excel
