About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mechatronic Engineer with experience in automotive environments to lead the development of advanced mechatronic systems and components. You will be responsible for managing the full product development lifecycle, coordinating with suppliers, ensuring compliance with automotive standards, and driving technical excellence across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end development of automotive mechatronic components (HW/SW)

Manage project planning, timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables

Define technical requirements, supervise validation activities, and ensure seamless system integration

Coordinate with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, conduct technical reviews, audits, and issue resolution

Utilize MATLAB/Simulink for modelling, simulations, and system analysis

Support or supervise embedded software development (C/C++, Python)

Develop and execute validation strategies, test plans, and continuous improvement initiatives

Prepare technical documentation, reports, and stakeholder presentations

Collaborate closely with Electronics, Software, Quality, Testing, and Vehicle Integration teams

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Mechatronic Engineer within the automotive industry
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Actuators, sensors, control systems, and kinematics
  • Embedded systems and ECUs
  • Automotive development processes and methodologies

✔ Experience with:

  • Supplier management and technical coordination
  • ISO 26262, ASPICE, and V-Model
  • Project management within automotive development projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

Nice to Have

  • MATLAB/Simulink expertise
  • Embedded programming (C/C++, Python)
  • Test automation tools (CAPL, Lua)
  • CANalyzer, CANoe, Vector tools
  • Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing
  • Advanced control systems knowledge
  • Agile development experience in automotive projects

Language Requirements

  • Italian: C2 (Mandatory)
  • English: C1 (Mandatory)
