We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's growing team within the space industry. You will play a key role in the design, analysis, verification and delivery of flight-qualified mechanical and thermal hardware for satellite payloads.Key ResponsibilitiesMechanical design and analysis of spaceborne radar structures and subsystemsPerform structural analysesPerform thermal and thermo-mechanical analyses for space environmentsDevelop mechanical and thermal system architectures for payloads and sub-systemsProduce detailed CAD models and engineering drawingsDesign and support mechanical and thermal test campaignsSupport integration, verification and qualification of flight hardwareRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong understanding of mechanical and thermal engineering principlesStrong experience with CAD and CAE tools, including:Solid WorksCREOFEA tools (ANSYS, Nastran, Femap or similar)Solid understanding of the full engineering lifecycle (concept → design → analysis → qualification → delivery → in-service)Experience producing manufacturing drawings and technical documentationGood written and spoken EnglishStrong communication and teamwork skillsApply today for more information
