The OP Assistant will work alongside the Outdoor Pursuits Manager, helping ensure every activity runs smoothly and each guest interaction reflects the warmth, quality, and attention to detail that define the Tenuta Toscana experience.Main duties and responsibilitiesSupport the flawless delivery of safe and outstanding outdoor experiences that delight members, guests, and prospectsAssist in supervising and accompanying members during activities, ensuring their safety and comfort throughoutMaintain thorough knowledge of activities and equipment to provide expert guidance and support to guests and team membersHelp create a welcoming and organized outdoor environment that enhances the overall experienceDeliver personalized service by recognizing guest preferences and adapting activities accordinglyPromote outdoor programs through informative materials and engaging briefings to encourage member and guest participationAssist with the daily set-up and breakdown of outdoor activities and equipment Support the OP Manager in coordinating schedules, staffing, and inventory counts as needed Attend department meetings and trainings to stay aligned with team goals and standards Assist in organizing special or seasonal outdoor events, supporting logistics and member receptionReport safety or maintenance concerns promptlyMaintain all equipment and materials in proper working order, ensuring cleanliness and safe storageMonitor weather conditions regularly and promptly inform the team and members of any changes affecting outdoor activitiesAlways adhere to company safety policies, including compliance when operating company vehiclesAssist others in the safe and correct use of outdoor equipment through demonstrations and guidanceTrack daily activity reports and operational metrics to support the smooth running of programsActively engage in sustainability and environmental stewardship initiatives to preserve the natural beauty of Tenuta ToscanaPerform light housekeeping tasks within the Outdoor Pursuits area to support a clean and organized environmentServe as a role model of professionalism, hospitality, and ethical behavior, inspiring others through knowledge, attitude, and commitment to confidentialityUphold the values and standards of Tenuta Toscana through professionalism, respect, positive engagement, and courtesy in all member and team interactionsDemonstrate flexibility and a proactive approach in adapting to changing needs, schedules, and guest expectationsFoster a collaborative and supportive team environment, serving as a trusted ambassador for the Outdoor Pursuits programRequirementsPrevious experience in similar roles within outdoor, recreational, sports or hospitality environmentsStrong educational background, with preference for studies in tourism, sports management, hospitality, or related fieldsValid driver's license with proven experience in safe operation of company vehiclesStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Italian; proficiency in a third language is a plusExceptional customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate guest preferences and deliver a personalized experience with grace and professionalismAble to multitask efficiently while maintaining great attention to detail and staying focused under pressureHigh level of responsibility and reliability, especially regarding safety and adherence to proceduresBenefitsFull-time contract in accordance with the Italian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL)Meals provided both during working hours and on days offUniforms and laundry service providedOngoing training to enhance personal and professional developmentDiscounts on dining, wellness, and sports activities available at the resort and estateThis research is addressed to candidates of both genders with reference to Italian Law 903/77 and Law 125/91.This position is based in Tuscany.
