p The successful candidate will play a key role within the organization, overseeing production, quality, and procurement activities while ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, customer service excellence, and overall business profitability.

/p Operating in a highly customized manufacturing environment, the selected professional will work cross-functionally with different departments to ensure effective control and coordination of the entire operational and production value chain.

Key Responsibilities

The Production Quality Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective performance of production, quality, and procurement processes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

/pp Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and supervising production, assembly, mechanical machining, and quality control activities. /lili Managing and developing a direct reporting team composed of:
    • Quality Specialist;
    • Production Planning Manager;
    • Workshop Supervisor;
    • Purchasing Manager. /li
  • Ensuring achievement of KPIs related to productivity, quality, on-time delivery, and service performance. /lili Overseeing planning and procurement processes, ensuring the optimal balance between material availability, production capacity, and business requirements. /lili Collaborating with technical and commercial departments to manage customer projects and specific client requirements. /lili Supervising the company's Quality Management System, promoting preventive and corrective actions aimed at enhancing performance and customer satisfaction. /lili Identifying operational issues and implementing continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, efficiency enhancement, and process optimization. /lili Supporting the evolution and implementation of digital tools and systems related to manufacturing and supply chain management. /lili Interfacing with Group stakeholders within an international business environment. /li

Your Profile

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or equivalent technical background. /lili Proven experience in leadership positions within manufacturing environments. /lili Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes, preferably within highly customized or engineer-to-order production settings. /lili Demonstrated experience in coordinating Production, Quality, and Supply Chain functions. /lili Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies. /lili Knowledge of the following methodologies will be considered a strong advantage:
    • Six Sigma;
    • SMED;
    • 5S. /li
  • Experience with ERP, MES, and advanced production planning systems. /lili Familiarity with platforms such as Opera MES, CyberPlan, and Mago ERP will be considered a plus. /lili Fluent English is mandatory, as the role requires regular interaction with international stakeholders and Group functions. /li
