Join us and be a game-changer.Job DescriptionAECOM Buildings + Places is actively seeking a highly organized Project Manager/Project Engineer to be based in Firenze.In this role, you will be joining a highly motivated and proactive team, working on multidisciplinary projects delivered across several geographies, with the potential to grow and thrive. Managing diverse projects will provide you with the opportunity to learn from professionals from different fields of expertise, acquiring general knowledge of the design and construction process.Also, you will get an overview of the complete project life cycle, from early proposal stages, throughout the project planning, setup, and execution, up to project closure.The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:Managing multiple projects of various complexities, working with international delivery teams.Working onsite at the client office, directly managing Statements of Work (SoW) and task execution.Demonstrated expertise in the infrastructure sector, with a particular focus on highways, structural engineering, and geotechnical disciplines.Information and document management, and organization of deliveries.Client interface, preparation of presentations, and coordination and setup of meetings, agenda, and meeting minutes.Project performance control and production of project control documentation: risk assessment, schedules, financial control, list of deliverables, reports, etc.Quality control of deliverables and coordination of project quality control processes.Stakeholder management, including internal stakeholders, and assisting the Design Manager with general coordination of the delivery team.Coordinate and manage project subcontractors, including procurement.General assistance in business development tasks, including the preparation of proposal bid documentation.QualificationsUniversity Degree in Engineering or Construction fields.Fluent in Italian and English.Some previous experience (+5 years) in a similar role with an engineering or construction planning background.Demonstrate initiative, foresight, and sound judgment in solving challenges.Are a team player and able to work with different stakeholders: teams, clients, sub-consultants, and vendors.Good organization skills and the ability to multitask, overseeing several projects simultaneously.Are highly motivated and willing to both learn and propose.Excellent communication, presentation, and general interpersonal skills.Have worked within BIM environment.Are an advanced user of Microsoft Office software, MS Project preferred.Are open to travel at work.Location: Firenze - on siteAdditional InformationWhat we offer:AECOM: A World of Opportunities and BenefitsAttractive Compensation and Professional Growth and DevelopmentCulture of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Welcoming WorkplacesThis offer is open to all genders in compliance with legislative decree 198/2006, and to people of all ages and nationalities according to legislative decrees 215/03 and 216/03.
