We were meant to fly.As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop and implement manufacturing processes to achieve high volumes production of complex aircraft engine components. Success in this role will be defined by your ability to achieve your goals, collaborating with your peers to create processes that meet drawing requirements, have high yield, minimize risk of deviation/scrap and meet required production rates.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesDesign and validate manufacturing router and documentation according to company procedures and customer requirementsProvide manufacturing method development and improvement for current and new productsApply Design for Manufacturing principles working with a cross functional team to ensure 6-sigma process capability and stable processWork with manufacturing engineering peers and manufacturing shop personnel to validate processes, tools, equipmentDesign and validate fixtures, tooling and equipment for production and new product developmentCoordinate with outside vendors that may be contracted to build production equipments and/or farm-out machining operationsDetermine safe manufacturing processes that produce a quality product in the most efficient method of productionPursue continuous improvement for quality and cost reductions in designated areasAssist supervisors and production employees in resolving manufacturing process problems through a drive to root cause and permanent corrective actionsAccountable for attaining all aspects of production operations, including safety, quality, First Time Yield and productivityPrevious experience as Manufacturing Engineer.Qualifications/RequirementsBacherol's Degree in EngineeringGood knowledge in the interpretation of engineering drawings/specifications and manufacturing processesFluent in English and ItalianEU work permitDesired CharacteristicsSix Sigma training is preferredSelf-starter and clear thinker.Good knowledge of cutting technologiesGood knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) systemHumility, Transparency and Focus behaviorsInclusiveness and ability to effectively work in teamStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to make data driven decisions, cause-effect analysis and utilize Six Sigma and Lean toolsWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
