Are you interested in the wind energy sector?We are currently looking for several Process Engineers to join our new team at theVestas blades factory in Taranto. We are hiring for two key areas of our manufacturing process: Handling & Logistics and Finish & PaintAbout the RoleAs a Process Engineer, you will support the design, optimization, and standardization of critical manufacturing processes. You'll be part of a cross-functional team working closely with Tooling, Documentation, Training, and Operations to ensure smooth and efficient production that meets our Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) targets.You will be directly involved in improving day-to-day performance, implementing lean practices, and contributing to technical excellence in either the Handling & Logistics or Finish & Paint area, depending on your background and interest.ResponsibilitiesDesign, optimize, and standardize processes for your focus area (Handling & Logistics or Finish & Paint).Develop and maintain process roadmaps, specifications, and work instructions.Support industrialization projects and contribute to process alignment across global sites.ApplyLean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.Use data and digital tools to monitor performance and improve.Solve production issues using structured problem-solving tools (5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, etc.).Ensure processes comply with safety and quality standards.Collaborate with other departments and global stakeholders.Spend time on the factory floor to validate and improve process performance.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Experience levels may vary depending on the role (we are hiring both junior and senior engineers), but it is positive to have experience or knowledge in composite materials fiberglass, carbon fiber, epoxy resins.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Data analysis for process improvement.Key CompetenciesMethodical and technical problem-solving skills.Structured and organized approach to work.Communication skills across functions and cultures.What We OfferAttractive salary + bonusA chance to be part of a global leader in renewable energy.An adaptive and innovative work environment in our Taranto blades factory.Development opportunities across various seniority levels.The ability to work in an international and multicultural team.Location: This position is based in Taranto, Italy.
