Our technology starts with you.YOUR ROLE You will be part of the Central Construction team, a worldwide team dedicated to the design and construction of the new infrastructure and facilities necessary for the manufacturing. You will join the team dedicated to the Agrate site, following all the phases of the new projects, from conceptual design to detailed design, construction, start-up and commissioning of the new facilities. You will be part of the Local Construction Team, grouping the HVAC, Cleanroom and Fire disciplines. During period of training, as Construction specialist you will be in charge of following the activities of the packages related to the discipline ensuring to keep them aligned with time, quality and budget defined. You will be asked to collaborate with the team members and to ensure an efficient sharing of the information among the people of the team and with the other people of the Construction group. You will work to define the new needs according to the project requirements and, working with the other disciplines involved in the team, to provide all the information necessary to the possible Contractors to fulfill their scope. Your role includes the following main activities:Help Engineers to define the basic design related to Mech disciplines for new ore existing projects, supported by team leaderHelp Engineers to prepare the specifications for the process Mech disciplineValidate the technical documentation and quotation provided by the ContractorsCheck and ensure that the installation activities, carried out by contractor personnel, are compliant with specifications, safety and environmental rules and any applicable STMicroelectronics standard and good practicesEnsure the on-time execution of HVAC installation, with follow-up of works, highlighting any deviation versus the specifications and/or scheduleParticipate to periodic meetings and be constantly updated about Mech activities progress with suppliers and STMicroelectronics teamEnsure the collection of final documentation related to the Mech disciplinesYOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCESCandidates that best fit this role should have/be: (minimum) Bachelor's degree in energy engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or other technically equivalent degree(preferred) able to read and understand mechanical, electrical and instrumental schematics(preferred) knowledge of Autocad and 3D modeling softwares (i.e. Revit, Navisworks,...)Good analysis, problem solving, synthesis and reporting capabilitiesGood teamwork abilityGood communication and documentation skillsGood knowledge of English language both written and spokenST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
