JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title:Regional Construction Manager Approved By:VP Development andConstruction Department: Development and Construction Approval Date: 02/10/25 The items below are to be used as a guide and are not all-inclusive.General Purpose of the Position:You will support the Development and Construction department in overseeing and coordinating projects with a high focus on time, safety, quality and cost optimizationThis role will assist with improving the conception, definition and execution of our construction projects and be based on site full-time while maintaining best practices and clear roles & responsibilities for any consultant supportYou will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projectsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain accurate and timely construction progress schedules and monitor job progress to assure timely completion of projectsCollaborate with design teams and actively participate in the design and pre-construction phases. Ensure timely issuance of design and commercial deliverablesFollow-up on construction works and design/construction and commissioning meetingsCollaborate with Safety department on the technical, operative, and organizational activities according to Italian law and best practicesPrepare regular reports for stakeholders, including progress updates and risk managementOversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with design, client expectations and safety regulationsUnderstand the entire supply chain for your project, including vendors, GCs, and subcontractors. Foster strong relationships and act as a liaison between project teams and the supply chainIdentify and manage project risks, developing clear strategies for risk mitigation. Proactively address challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.Collaborate with your peers across EMEA to continually assess, align on and improve the delivery methodologySchedule, prepare agendas and lead regular project meetings and other meetings as required.Required Job Skills:Stakeholders communicationEnglish is a must and another language would be a plusStrong leadership skills, high emotional intelligence, and a proven track record in leading, managing and developing teamsPromote and model an attitude of continuous improvement, partnership, and teamwork in behaviors and communicationsExpert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standardsFamiliarity with construction management software packagesMicrosoft Office (focused on Excel and Power Point), CAD, Microsoft Project, Primavera, Project Management professional tools,Problem-solving attitude with a crucial ability to meet deadlines, strong planning, and organizational skillsEducation and Experience:BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field4+ years of proven experience in project and construction management that will include critical Infrastructure for Datacentre, Pharmaceutical, Bio-tech, Petrochemical or similar environmentsIn-depth knowledge of relevant statutory regulations and industry best practicesInternational academic or work experience is a plus
