Run what runs the world.This Position reports to:Procurement Team LeadYour role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.The work model for the role is: #Li-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division HUB Europe, in Garbagnate Monastero.You will be mainly accountable for:Registration and qualification of new suppliers on the dedicated platform.Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements and guaranteeing products quality conformity.Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.Managing suppliers' frame agreements according to ABB procedures.Analyzing and evaluating quotations to determine the optimal value.Analyzing cost breakdown of purchased items in order to search for new cost-efficiency actions.Qualifications for the roleYou just graduated in Management Engineering, Economics or Mechanical Engineering.Very good knowledge of English (level B2/C1) and Italian, written and spoken.Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Knowledge of SAP and Power BI would be considered a plus.Strong proactivity and willingness to take initiative, curiosity and interest in exploring new solutions and approaches.
