Job Description

About the Role:

As an Operations Support Technician, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of hardware across the facility. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment uptime, addressing issues promptly, and supporting operational teams to meet performance and service targets. Your work will help minimise disruptions, improve efficiency, and maintain a safe, well-functioning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and preventative maintenance on hardware and related equipment.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware faults in a timely and methodical manner.
Log, track, and update maintenance activities and incidents using internal systems and documentation standards.
Coordinate with operations and technical teams to schedule maintenance and minimise downtime.
Assist with installation, configuration, and replacement of hardware components as required.
Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or external vendors and support them with accurate technical information.
Monitor equipment performance, identify recurring issues, and suggest improvements to processes or hardware usage.
Support team members with operational queries, contributing to a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in a hardware maintenance, operations support, or similar technical role.
Strong practical skills in diagnosing and resolving hardware issues.
Demonstrated attention to detail in following procedures, documenting work, and handling equipment.
Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet operational deadlines.
Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment, supporting colleagues and sharing information.
Ability to follow safety protocols and site-specific operational guidelines.
Willingness to work on-site at 8045 Dixie Hwy and adapt to changing operational needs.

Desirable Skills:

Experience working in an industrial, logistics, manufacturing, or similar operational setting.
Familiarity with ticketing or maintenance management systems.
Basic understanding of networking concepts or connected hardware systems.
Experience supporting continuous improvement or process optimisation initiatives.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Technical certificate, apprenticeship, or vocational training in electronics, hardware maintenance, or a related field (preferred).
Any relevant industry certifications in hardware support, maintenance, or technical operations (preferred).
