Head of Commercial - Southern Europe
Home-Based - Italy - With International Travel
We are recruiting for a Head of Commercial on behalf of an established international organisation operating within the agricultural sector.
Responsible for Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, this individual will provide commercial leadership across an established region, leading experienced sales and technical teams and working closely with the wider European leadership team.
Leading a team of direct reports, the role carries full responsibility for regional P&L, budgets, sales performance and commercial development.
The business already has established teams, customers and routes to market across Southern Europe. The opportunity is therefore centered around leadership and continued growth, bringing teams together, identifying further commercial opportunities and ensuring each market has the support and direction required to perform.
This will require somebody capable of operating at both strategic and practical levels. You will be expected to remain close to the market, spending regular time with teams across the region and supporting key customer and distributor relationships.
We are interested in speaking with individuals who offer:
- Established commercial leadership experience, ideally within agriculture or a similar sector
- A strong understanding of agricultural customers and the farming market
- Multi-country commercial experience, ideally across at least two of Italy, France, Spain and Portugal
- Proven experience leading and developing sales teams
- P&L and budget management experience
- Experience working with distributor/channel partners
- Fluent English and French; Italian and/or Spanish would be advantageous
- A collaborative, open and commercially astute approach to leadership

On offer is a base salary of up to €150,000 DOE +an attractive bonus + other benefits.
