Primary Purpose

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead infrastructure initiatives while ensuring alignment with technical specifications, budgets, and financial objectives. This role will partner with engineering, finance, product, and business stakeholders to define system requirements, develop and maintain project budgets, manage vendor resources, and track resource utilization. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, financial acumen, and experience managing project forecasts, risks, timelines, and Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies. They will ensure projects meet performance, compliance, and scalability standards while delivering measurable business value within approved financial constraints.

 

Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days.  Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC. 
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

 

Duties and Responsibilities 


•    Define project scope, plan schedules, and coordinate resources.
•    Track milestones, dependencies, financials, risks, and issues.
•    Facilitate effective communication and decision-making across teams.
•    Ensure compliance with delivery frameworks (SDLC/IDLC).
•    Provide project updates to leadership and stakeholders.
•    Collaborate with vendor resources and manage project related contract deliverables.
•    Develop cost plans and forecasts using estimates and resource inputs from project teams and stakeholders.
•    Monitor actuals and report variances, outlining mitigation steps to stay within approved thresholds.
•    Track and report project financials, flagging risks such as invoicing issues or other emerging concerns.
•    May be called upon to support critical escalations and must be available during urgent IT incidents as needed.
•    Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project tasks and milestones are completed on time.
•    Oversee project change requests (PCR) and ensure scope changes are properly evaluated, approved, and documented.


Qualifications   


•    Proficiency with project planning, tracking, and risk management tools.
•    Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
•    Skilled in delivering projects within both Agile and Waterfall environments.
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience.
•    5+ years of project management or delivery experience.


Preferred Qualifications 


•    Experience delivering work in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
•    Experience monitoring and maintaining project budgets and expenditures to ensure financial accountability and cost control.
•    Experience in driving resolution of project conflicts, roadblocks, and resource constraints to keep the project on track.

 

ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $92,640 - $138,960  

Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on their unique qualifications and experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
