Roles & Objectives

As an Intern you will be part of our Global Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Team based in Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. and will be reporting to ou Senior Lead EHS Program & Certification. The position will be based in our manufacturing site in Crespellano


In your role, you will join the Global EHS team supporting the development and implementation of global programs and initiatives aimed at strengthening our EHS management system and driving continuous improvement across our operations. You will contribute to projects related to sustainability, certifications, risk management, and performance reporting, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders from different regions.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Support the Global EHS team in the development and deployment of corporate EHS programs and initiatives;
  • Support activities related to ISO certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 45001);
  • Assist in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the EHS management system, including documentation and process alignment;
  • Contribute to the preparation and analysis of EHS performance reports and dashboards using internal reporting tools, including PMS (Performance Management System);
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and validate data for global sustainability and compliance reporting;
  • Assist in the review and update of global procedures, guidelines, and communication materials;
  • Participate in benchmarking and research activities to identify best practices and innovative EHS solutions;
  • Help organize and document internal meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to EHS topics, including documentation review and coordination with internal stakeholders.

 

Who we’re looking for:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Degree in Environmental Engineering/ Safety Engineering/Industrial Management/Sustainability, or related fields;
  • Strong literacy in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
  • Literacy with data visualization tools (Power BI);
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail, especially in data handling and reporting;
  • Interest in EHS topics such as ISO certifications, sustainability, risk management;
  • Good communication and analytical skills
    Curiosity and willingness to learn in a dynamic, fast-paced global setting;
  • Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory, and will be tested throughout the interview process.

 

Rewards & Benefits

We offer an Internship of 6 months length, full time.
In this position you will earn no less than 900 € monthly
